Marian Wulfert

Marian Wulfert (Posthumously)

Marian was a teacher in the Wayne Central School District.  She co-founded NAC in the late 1970’s to get teachers together to perform for the community.  It wasn’t until the early 90’s that she reorganized it to involve teachers, parents, students, and neighbors from Wayne.  Marian directed, produced, costumed, and designed sets over the next 20 years.  She was a member of the board of directors for her entire NAC career and served in several of the officer positions. Her goal was to introduce theater to as many people as possible.
“I love to help ordinary people become someone they only dreamed they could be and to do things they never imagined they could do.” – Marian Wulfert

Patty Dick Wlos

Dick Wlos (Posthumously) & Patty Wlos

The husband-and-wife duo that everyone knew.  Starting in 1993, Dick was on stage and Patty played keyboard in the pit orchestra.  Each year the two of them would give everyone engraved pencils with the show name.  Both took turns as members of the board, with Patty being the Secretary for several years.  Many times, you could catch Patty staring at her husband as he sang on stage.  Dick was mentor to many of the children involved.  Patty, though soft-spoken, had a big heart and always wanted as many people as possible to be involved to share the joy of music.

Toni Bobeck

Toni Bobeck (Posthumously)

From the early 90’s Toni was an integral part of NAC.  She acted on stage as well as directed.  Toni was part of all facets of the production team and was a board member from the start, holding many officer positions through the years.  Toni made NAC a true family affair.  She was introduced to theater at a young age and instilled that in her family as well.  She involved her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren, later working alongside their successes.
